Choose the right journal
Read the aims and scope of each journal before you submit. A manuscript that fits the journal's scope moves faster through review. Browse all journals by subject area on the Journals page.
Prepare your manuscript
- Follow the author guidelines of the journal you choose (structure, length, reference style).
- Remove names and affiliations from the main file so the review stays blind.
- Prepare a title page, an abstract and keywords in the journal's language.
- Make sure figures and tables are clear and cited in the text.
- Declare funding, conflicts of interest and any use of AI tools.
Submit online
- Create an account or log in.
- Open the journal and choose “Submit an article”.
- Upload your files, enter the metadata and add all co-authors.
- Confirm the submission checklist and submit.
After submission
You will receive a confirmation email and can follow every step from your dashboard: editorial check, peer review, revision, decision, copyediting and production. Reply to editors and upload revisions from the same place.
After publication
Your article is published open access with a permanent link (and a DOI where the journal assigns one). Share it with colleagues, deposit it in repositories according to the journal's policy and cite it in your future work.
